KanjiFind Advanced runs on both Macintosh OS X and Windows operating systems. It is extremely effective is assisting both beginning learners and experienced readers of Japanese. While reading a Japanese document, the user can find and obtain critical information about an unfamiliar character in a matter of seconds. When the reading material is a digital file, such as a web page or a digital document on a computer, the user can simply copy the unknown character and paste it to the Kanji field for quick results. When the character is on a printed page, the reader can locate an unknown character by several different fields or a combination of fields. For example, the user can use the SKIP system to count the strokes in the character and obtain search results.
